E-Iyco is a Digital Work Environment (DWE) for high schools and colleges, public and private Academy Nantes. This is a portal "Web" to propose and to consolidate various services related to school life.

E-lycopene has two parts:
- part public, accessible to all, and to replace the website of the institution
- And private parties available only on password, for students, teachers, non-teaching staff, parents, inspectors, etc..
Each user has private "his" party. A student can go 3EA consult his notes, and not those of his neighbor. A parent may 6EB see the schedule of class 6EB and not that of class 4EC.
timetable, list of texts in class, each student's grades, absences, internal messaging, electronic diary, booking module and equipment rooms, blogs, forums, personal storage space ... there's all that!
The 560 students and teachers at City College of Roses (Chateaubriand) use e-lycopene from the beginning January 2011. Students and parents must activate their personal account via a web page.
- Students have already established their passcodes within the institution.
- Parents now receive e-mails containing the information required to activate their accounts within a week. For this stage, support may be offered (one night in college for example).
And for families who do not have internet access point in the college is considered.
